Position title
Trail Guide (TG) - Navigators
Description

Mentor the Next Generation of Leaders. Become a Navigator Trail Guide.

Middle school is a time of incredible transformation. As boys in our troop move from the adult-led Woodlands program to the youth-led Adventurers, they need dedicated men to guide them. This is more than a volunteer position; it's a chance to make a lasting impact.

What is a Navigator Trail Guide?

  • You are a Coach: You will mentor the Junior Patrol Leader, helping him learn to lead his peers.
  • You are a Guide: You will balance giving boys the freedom to lead with providing the support they need to succeed. You’ll help them navigate challenges and learn from their experiences.
  • You are a Role Model: You will be a key figure during these three formative years, demonstrating what it means to be a capable and servant-hearted man.

Join a Team. Share the Adventure.

We believe in the power of shared leadership. Our goal is to build a team of Trail Guides with a variety of skills and backgrounds. You don't need to be a survival expert to be an incredible mentor. Your life experience, your character, and your willingness to invest in our youth are what matter most. By working as a team, we can provide the best possible experience for the boys while supporting one another.

Your primary role is to be present as a mentor. While opportunities to lead major events like campouts exist, they are not a requirement. Your most important duty is to guide, advise, and encourage the young men in your care.

Step up and help us shape the leaders of tomorrow.
